Kettlebell Training
A kettlebell looks like a cannonball with a handle on top. Whilst this may seem like a very cumbersome piece of training equipment it has many fantastic benefits.
Kettlebell training can help to increase cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, strength and power. They utilise the posterior chain (hamstrings, gluteals and erector spinae muscles) as well as the core. As kettlebell training places such high metabolic demands on the body they can also help to reduce bodyfat levels. Pictured below i am performing one of the main ballistic movements used in kettlebell training called the ‘snatch’.
